No Sugar + No Flour = No Flab

If you want to lose those excess inches off your waist, you can begin by cutting out sugar and flour.

Cut out sugar and flour and you will cut your food cravings as well.

You can lose weight fast with a No Sugar No Flour Diet because it detoxes your body and cuts down your craving for sweet things and big meals.

The flour or sugar that food manufacturers add to the food we buy makes increases our appetites so we get fatter. Eating too much because we're "high" on sugar makes us overeaters. And we can become sugar addicts or even food addicts.

There are books and 12 Steps groups to help with food addiction and compulsive overeating. And most start by placing you on a no sugar no flour diet, to detox and cleanse you.

Eating foods that have no flour or sugar added to them means living with a smaller appetite than we once had.

It's an excellent idea to check the contents label carefully on every can of food or package you buy. And if a food tastes sweet, even if its not sugar - it is best to treat it same as sugar as far as the diet plan is concerned.

If you're in doubt, just leave it out.

Ways They Trick You

Food labels may list dextrose, sucrose, fructose, malt or a dozen different names to disguise the fact they are loading their product with sugar. Technically and chemically these additives may not be 'sugar', but they will still make us want to eat more. That's why they were put there in the first place! To 'trigger' us to eat more.

Having sugar on the food label is okay if it is down near the bottom of the list, but not near the top. It should be number five or lower down the list of ingredients.

It makes sense to exclude flour and sugars from our meal plan if they trigger us into over eating. The no sugar, no flour diet plans usually call for three moderate meals each day, with absolutely no snacks in-between meal times.

Drinking alcohol, tea and coffee is also forbidden in the no sugar no flour diet. Why? Well alcohol is made from sugar, and...

Caffeine Increases Appetite

Beverages need to be free of caffeine, and should be taken without cream or milk.

If we can learn to do without meat every day, we will lose weight too. Hundreds of millions of folks exist well all around the world living on fruit and vegetables with just a little fish or maybe even some meat for special occasions.

White meat is much healthier for you than red meat. A little red meat is fine, but not every week and certainly not every day.

Pioneers and explorers used to live on dried beans as a main protein source. Just like in the old cowboy films.

Go Vegetarian For A Day (or two)

If you want to lose more weight, well eat some of your meals like that regularly. Beans really are a great protein food and, no, they don't give you gas when they're cooked right. Soaking the dry beans in water overnight fixes that problem. :-)

You will get healthier if you have one or more days a week when you do without meat, and your waistline will thank you too..

We are better off saving red meat for special occasions, like grandpa did when he carved the Sunday roast.

The white meats, chicken and turkey are more healthy. And we should eat lots of salads as well. Every day.

Once you have started losing weight steadily and are getting close to your 'ideal' weight, your food plan may include one cooked cup of brown rice with one of your daily meals - lunch or dinner.

Desserts and puddings are full of sugars and starches and will still pile the pounds back on your body, so don't touch them. Leave them for the skinny people.

The no sugar no flour diet plan can really help you to lose weight fast, and keep it off as well.

Try it for 30 days, and you'll be impressed by the changes. Your body will thank you for it. And if you want to thank me for putting you on to it, please come back to this page and leave a comment! I would love to hear of your success.

If you are on a serious weight-loss diet, then substitutes are NOT the way to go. Honey is still a sugar as far as dieting and losing weight goes. And if you check the guidelines from F.A.A. (Food Addicts Anonymous) and F.A. (Food Addicts In Recovery Anonymous) even flours of any kind count as a forbidden food as well. (Chemically they are not a sugar, but they still trigger the cravings for sweetness.) The FAA website will sell you a document for a few dollars that lists the 500 Names for Sugar that food manufacturers use to disguise the fact they are adding sugars to their foods. See: http://www.foodaddictsanonymous.org/literature.htm

This is cool. But what about substitution; like honey for sugar and like almond flour or flax seed flour instead of regular flour?

Excellent. I totally agree with you. I do still drink tea and coffee, but I'm having no problems with it. If I do, I'll quit. I hope you'll read my article that is similar. Keep on writing!
